Government of India, through NELP invites all companies both Indian & foreign for investment in E&P sector for securing energy needs of the country. With introduction of New Exploration Licensing Policy, the upstream hydrocarbon industry in the country has undergone a momentous change. Today, many companies view India as an attractive business destination for oil & gas. We are also able to attract best technology from across the globe in search of hydrocarbons. Government of India, vide notification no. 3/2017-GST dated 28.06.2017, has incentivized E & P operators to avail GST concession on purchase of indigenous goods used in petroleum operations based upon Essentiality Certificate issued by DGH.


The EC department in DGH receives applications from various operators for procurement of indigenous goods for petroleum operations at concessional rates of GST. This department completes all formalities & issues certificates within stipulated time frame. Besides, the department also issues NOCs for transfer of indigenous goods within the country.

  • Issue of NOC (No Objection Certificate) for transfer of indigenous goods.
