• Overview of producing fields:

Commercial production in onland area
commenced in 1958. Major producing fields
with cumulative production in parenthesis
are namely Ankleshwar (66.9 MMT, 11.6 BCM),
Gandhar (42.5 MMT,40.9 BCM), North Kadi (36
MMT), Santhal (25.9 MMT), Sobhasan (20.2 MMT),
Kalol (18.4 MMT, 12.3 BCM). The area has 113 fields
with 5,079 producing wells. The maximum flow
rates achieved by any field on record are Oil
11,854 BOPD and Gas 1 MMSCMD.

Commercial production in shallow water area
commenced in 2002. Major producing fields
with cumulative production in parenthesis are
namely CB-OS/2 (6.9 MMT, 7.6 BCM). The area has
2 fields with 29 producing wells. The maximum
flow rates achieved by any field on record are Oil
3,490 BOPD.
• Basin datasets and studies:

As of 31.03.2025, NDR has archived primary
datasets of 86,542 LKM 2D seismic, 34,691 SKM
3D seismic and 9,722 conventional wells (3,082
exploratory). Multiple flavour of reprocessed
seismic datasets are also archived whenever the
same are provided by E&P Operators.

(92%). The active acreage nos. across regime(s) are 255 with area 26,664 sq. km (50% of basin area)

Onland: 1 OALP (Round X) block with 126 sq km area; 1 DSF (Round IV) contract area with
110 sq km area [4 discoveries namely Pasunia-1, Pasunia-2, Ognaj-1, Uber-2]; 1 CBM
(SCBM) block with 189 sq km area
