3.2 Drilling Activities

During FY 2024-25, a total of 141 exploratory wells nomination areas while in offshore development
were drilled while a total of 598 development wells were drilled by ONGC only. Country’s
wells were drilled by NOCs and Pvt./JVs. Majority drilling activities are summarized in Table 3.2.
