India's Sedimentary Basins: Subsurface Insights 53

            2.3.8 PRANHITA-GODAVARI (PG) BASIN

Pranhita-Godavari (PG) is a Category III basin with entirely undiscovered in-place, that calls for
            intense exploration for potential discovery.

The basin overlaps with the state(s) of Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra,
            Telangana.
