            2.3.6 VINDHYAN BASIN

            Vindhyan is a Category II basin with sub-commercial discovered in-place, potential to be commercially
            produced. The basin overlaps with the state(s) of Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh.

                                                              Datasets  used  were  6  Vertical  Seismic  Profiles
                                                              (VSP),  59,771  stations  of  Aeromagnetic  survey,

                                                              5 profiles of Deep Seismic Sounding (DSS).
                                                              Vindhyan basin has a total hydrocarbon in-place
                                                              of 685 MMTOE. This includes discovered in-place
                                                              of 1 MMTOE and undiscovered risked in-place of

                                                              The discovered in-place is subject to commercial
